In what way might we create a better means of carrying necessities for babycare?

Primary needs:
The bag helps me feel organized, prepared, and confident.
The bag has a variety of simple carrying and storage options.
The bag simplifies my routine.
The bag is stylish.
The bag makes economic sense.
The bag is safe to use.

I began working on analytical prototypes of these three designs.
Pretty quickly, I realized a problem with the roll-up pack--because of its orientation, unless it was always tightly packed the inside would droop out. While I drew up a plan for making it, I had to alter it so that it would be worn differently, and I found it a much less appealing look. (I also realized it would be way too big to be comfortable.) Additionally, I realized the layer pack, while making everything easily accessible, lacked a good way to secure belongings, because it could flop open. I would have to add a lot of zippers, which would defeat the simplicity of the original idea.

As a result of this prototyping phase, I'm beginning to question the entire design of this bag. While I'll have to think on it some more (yay easy week!), I've realized my sewing skills may not be up to par--possibly it's time to look at one of my other gaps and come back with a more realistic plan to address another of my ideas!

Here are photos of my analytical prototypes, done on graph paper with a blue pen. I used a dark background for the photo so the paper would stand out.
